Miles is officially walking! He took his first steps right around his birthday, but continued to prefer crawling since it was faster. Now he is judging distances and cautiously walking from point A to B. His current interests include: eating fruit, throwing his toys (for no apparent reason - just because he can), kicking balls, stroller walks, and cuddling with his blankie and new pink pig (a hand-me-down from Elise). He also loves to climb - see picture.
Elise's current interests include: dress-up (see picture - she poses like a diva), coloring, kid-writing, making her own lunch, making Miles laugh, and talking talking talking. She is starting to read and write some simple sight words. My favorite: "To Mom, I love you, XXXOOO." Actually, replace mom with dad. Still a daddy's girl...
